2004 Visitor - Dame Ann

Dame Ann was a brand new steam locomotive that came to Launceston in March 2004 for trials. Based on the locomotives used on the LSR, but incorporating some differences to update and improve the design, Dame Ann was built by the Exmoor Steam Railway of North Devon. After an extended stay she was shipped to her new owners in the USA in July 2004, and she is now resident at Wales West in Alabama.
