Building A Dream

The Launceston Steam Railway film was directed by Andrew Johnston with cameraman Ian Stuart Lynn.
Andrews involvement with the LSR begain back in 1987 when Nigel Bowman was the commentator for the second of the two films made for the BBC called 'The Little Trains to Lynton' - small snippets of the LSR were also included in the 2 part series. In 2009, a full film was made about Launceston Steam Railway and its creation, which has been recently uploaded onto YouTube by Clive North, with permission of all parties involved.
 It is now publically available to view and has been linked below:

Those wishing to own a physical copy, you can purchase a DVD version of the film in the Gift Shop at our station in Launceston.
